Youth Red Cross helps the students to inculcate discipline in them and to understand their responsibilities towards their countrymen, especially the poor and downtrodden. The society conducts Blood Donation Camp, AIDS Awareness Camp, Cancer Awareness, Rally and Fire Safety Camp.

            All the Students are the members of YRC. They are enrolled as members by paying Rs.10/- per student to YRC, which collected along with admission fees. A portion of this amount Rs.4/- per student as registration fee is remitted to Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch. The college has nominated one faculty member as a program officer to carry on the activities of the society.
