On October 21, 2022, a
very fortunate tree-planting event was held in our campus to raise awareness of
climate change and its negative effects on people like us. The programme began
at 2:00 p.m., and Capt. Dr. P. Arulmozhichelvan, the college's principal, was
the honoree for this tree planting.
The
aim of the program is to plant a total of 50 saplings on the college campus and
nearby local areas. Our principal planted the first seedling.
As a college, we committed to planting as many trees as we could close to our locations in order to improve the quality of the air and reduce climate change. I appreciate the cooperation from our management, principal and students in advancing this worthy cause.
