Five days skill development program on Beautician
course conducted by IQAC, PG Department of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce
(Corporate Secretaryship), which was initiated by Capt.Dr.P.Arulmozhichelvan,
Principal, Sree Muthukumaraswamy college from 20/02/2023

Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Ministry of Micro, Small
& Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Chennai.
In the inaugural session, Resource Person Mr.Khanna in
his inaugural address encouraged the students to participate in these types of
events to acquire additional skills required for the career apart from the
classroom lectures. Finally, he congratulated the students who have registered
for his five-day skill development program on the “Beautician Course”.
Finally, the coordinator Dr. G. Raja Priya in her address welcomed the
participants, Resource person Mrs.Angel Margaret. In her welcome address, he
spoke about the importance of an entrepreneur for the student’s career
development. This type of training will give confidence to girl students and
may choose it as their business in the future The vote of thanks was given by
J.Janani from M.com (I year).
In five days of sessions, the trainer taught the
students how to thread, bleach – Olivia, Oxy, Gold, Fruit, Facial – Pimple,
Herbal, Glavanic, Fruit, Waxing – Hot Wax and Hot oil massage, Saree draping,
Pedicure & Manicure, Wats removing, Basic hair cut, Bridal Make-up, Hairstyling,
Stage Make-up.
Finally, in the valedictory Session Mrs.Angel Margaret
Beautician trainer gives an introductory speech about the skill development
training program. After the completion of the introductory speech Captain. Dr. P.
Arulmozhichelvan, Principal presented the Course completed certificates to the students.
Dr.G.Raja Priya, HOD of PG Department of commerce, and Mrs.S.Revathi HOD of
Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate SecretaryShip) felicitated the Principal of Prabhakaran, Central Palmgur and Palm

Margaret with shawl and memento. During the Valedictory Session vote of thanks
was given by J.Janani M.com (I year) thanked all the dignitaries, participants
and other members who were involved in the smooth functioning of the workshop.
Feedback/Suggestions from the participants
Ø Students are more impressive and actively participated
in the course.
Ø More number of such program is to be conducted for
improving of practical knowledge.
