Sree Muthukumarawamy College Department of training and placement cell Report on Mega Job Fair – 2022

A Mega Job Fair is an event in which employers, recruiters and colleges provide an opportunity to Job Seekers. This year we conducted the Mega Job Fair in a splendid way on February 26, 2022.We in association with Equitas Development Initiatives Trust and District Vocational Service Team RI District 3232 made the Job Fair a grand success. The companies, which were invited to the fair, included Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Muthoot Finance and many more organizations. The inauguration was done by Mr. C.L Rajendran, one of the Board Member of SMKC. On this occasion Our Dean Dr.V. Selvanathan welcomed the gathering and gave his best wishes to all the graduates and said that it is a matter of great pleasure that more than 52 Multinational & National companies have come to the institution for the Job Fair.

Dr.P.Arul Mozhi Chelvan our respectable principal gave the Special address and stated that the Mega Job Fair will give the right direction to the career of the graduates and they will be benefitted from employment. He also said all the youngsters should work in the National interest by their ability.

Mrs G. Nathiya Placement Officer of SMKC gave the vote of thanks.

Thus the organization of this Mega Job Fair provided a great opportunity for the students to create a career according to their interests and skills from a single place

Besides the Job seekers, there were some young students in the fair who came to see the current Job Market. They were very much enthusiastic over their coming future. Total graduates of our college registered for the Job Fair is 53 students out of which 35 students were selected and got their offer letter.

Tata strive skills development conducted training and development programme for the students from 20.4.22 to 31.5.22 in our college for final year students in which 34 students were participated out which 21 students attend the training session regularly.

Dr.P.Arul Mozhi Chelvan our respectable principal gave introduction session about the training and motivated the students to attend the training session

The trainer Miss keerthana from Tata strive trained the students in various topic like BFSI (Banking Finance Sector and Insurance) and YDM (Youth Development Modules) and Mrs Vinoth from Tata strive gave training in self introduction, free speech, presentation, grooming, group activity and mock interview for our students.

Finally arranged interview in various companies. Nearly 13 of our students placed in SSM enterprise and 21 students got placed Pace setters business solution pvt Ltd

Bhumi Foundation conducted training and development programme for the students from

20.5.22 to 30.5.22 in our college for final year students in which 38 students were participated out which 33 students attend the training session regularly.

Mr. Ramkumar from Bhumi Foundation trained the students in advance MS Office, communication skills and personality development training to our students. Finally, students took place in online assessment and got E-certificates.

Altruist Technologies Pvt Ltd conducted campus drive on 8.4.22 in our college for final year students ,178 students actively participated in group discussion round out which 53students got selected for HR round. Finally, 37 students were got the opportunity to work in the organisation. The selected got offer letter on the same day from our principal.
