        WORKSHOP ON ANDROID APPS DEVELOPMENT

The department of computer science and computer application and software application organized a Two day Hands-on workshop on Android application development on 16-08-2018 and 17-08-2018. 60 students of final year participated in the Workshop. The inauguration function started at 09:00 AM on 16.08.2018 with invocation song by.  Mrs. S.Suganthi Asst  Professor and Head,department of BCA welcomed the guests and the gathering. introduced the resource person Mr. Jagret Maheshwari from IIT Mumbai.

Dr. Selvanathan, Principal  addressed the gathering about the importance of Android apps and also mentioned how effectively the technology can be used now adays. Mrs.Archana Devi,Head of department of Bsc(CS) proposed the vote of thanks

The speaker started the session 1 of day 1 at 9.30 AM in computer science lab, he started with brief introduction of Android apps followed byIndustrie’s view on Android. After one hour of discussion on trends in Android most awaited hands on session started with different protocols on CoAP(Constrained Application Protocol) and its 3 types. After lunch the session took hands on ... where students learnt the creation of simple apps and transfer of data from node to node.
On day 2 speaker covered many topics, started with and , java script to build application on Android and cloud. Emerging OpenWSN OS was done hands on prior to lunch, after lunch hands on continued with 
After the end of the last session, at 4.45pm the Resource person was thanked by Mrs.T.Merlin Java Asst Prof. and head, Dept.of. Bsc(s/a) for sharing his knowledge with students and motivating them to cope with new technologies. Throughout the workshop Jagret Maheshwari was assisted by Karthikeyan.
